Corrie is the proud Grand-Daughter of a Lancashire Miner who broke his back in the Maypole Pit, Abram in 1957, She is documenting the living history of her mining heritage, by creating original songs inspired by and interwoven with the real oral testimonies of former miners, who were employed when the mines were closed. To document their working lives, communities and more importantly their friendships. Working closely with the Lancashire Mining Museum, Lancashire Wildlife Trust and The Fire Within Wigan, Corrie has been able to take song writing workshops into local primary schools to engage and write with the children. Making this album a truly community based project.

Forget Me Not (2019)
In a bold departure from her previous sound, Forget Me Not is an experimentation of Corrie’s rock roots within the tried and true framework of her style. Inspired by past generations, children, TV shows, failed relationships and more, this is yet another dip into Corrie’s cupboard of dusty jars.
The Leaf and the Cane (2017)
This album quickly followed the release of Painted Memories. Showing the varied writing styles from Traditional Folk based songs to more modern ballads & driving beats.

Painted Memories (2016)
After 30 years away from music eccentric photographer and chronic tea addict Corrie Shelley attended a songwriting workshop. The Tide, couldn’t have been a more appropriate result of this day, as wave after wave of Corrie’s uniquely moving songs poured out.
